We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

Shipping Limitations

When an order is placed, it will be shipped to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this website.  All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract.  As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier.  You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.

Custom Orders:

Each custom order has its own calculated shipping fee, based on the country and item weight. Please fill out our Custom Request Form and our team will provide you with a fee quote for your order.

Custom Orders will take about 7~10 business days as we order and prepare your requested item. Once your item has arrived to our office, we will send it to you right away.

Custom Duties and Taxes

Do I need to pay custom duties / taxes?

Some countries may have import taxes and you are responsible for any duties and taxes outside South Korea (if applicable). Unfortunately, we are unable to advise customers on how much these will be, so please ensure to consult your own country’s import tax policy. 

– VAT obligations for sellers and marketplaces had been imposed in many countries since July 1, 2021. VAT is not included in the price of your order. The recipient should pay separately to customs to receive the parcel.

– Actual product price/value needs to be properly indicated for DHL shipment to United Kingdom and Turkey. It is not possible to undervalue a product for DHL shipment to UK, Turkey, India and all the EU countries* according to respective countries’ custom’s instruction.

– Herefan cannot intervene in custom issues at other countries. We can, however, issue undervalued invoice to make shipment release easier. If import tax is charged by customs at destination country, it should be paid for by the recipient.

EU VAT (Value Added Tax)

– Customers from the Europe will need to pay for the VAT separately when it arrives in your country. Herefan cannot shoulder the extra charges applied and must be paid for by the receiver. 

– EU customs asked senders/exporters to designate actual product price as custom value and they will request original invoice and proof of payment detail as evidence.

*Applicable to the following EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

India Import/Duty Taxes

Sending a parcel to India may induce a HIGH amount of duty taxes. Please consider this before placing your order, as Herefan WILL NOT be responsible for the high amount of taxes placed on the product. The receiver has to pay for it or the product will have to be destroyed in customs. Once the product has been dispatched to DHL, you cannot cancel your order or get a refund.


What if I reject or refuse to sign for the packages?

Customers will be charged an amount for the original shipping plus returning fee if the packages are rejected for any reason at all.

Can you declare my packages at a certain value / as a gift?

We are a registered business in Korea and we operate in accordance to Korean export laws. Since the prices of our products had been modified to partially include shipping fees, we set the value of the product to its original price upon shipping instead of the price stated in our site. We do not condone undervaluing/under-declaring the price of the items as that is illegal and will be regarded as smuggling by any country. Likewise, we are not able to declare items as ‘gifts’ for the sole purpose of avoiding import taxes. (In the case of giveaway gifts and prizes, we do make sure to declare items as gifts.

Delivery Terms

Who do you ship with?

We use DHL Worldwide Express services and delivery information should be provided in English.

If you have a preference, please let us know and we will try to ship with this courier.

For most countries, we use DHL Worldwide Express. The average transit time is 5-7 working days.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

From the date you place your order with us, it normally takes between 4-10 working days to receive your item in our warehouse from the Korean supplier. Please note that in certain cases, it may take longer than this depending on the supplier or if it is a pre-order item. Then, the transit time listed above applies after we ship it from our warehouse.

Our business operates from Monday to Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time our business will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

Can I change my delivery address?

For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched. Please email with your order number and new shipping address, so that we can update your details on our system.

What do I do about late deliveries?

If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking number and link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider. If for some reason, you do not receive an email, check your order number from your account and track your order through the link here.

Can I combine orders?

We are able to combine orders, however we cannot combine any more than two. Please email with both the order numbers that you would like shipped together.


What if I change my mind?

All products sold on HereFan are non-returnable once shipped. 

What if my items are damaged upon arrival?

Here Fan will happily honor any valid defect claims, provided a claim is submitted within 30 days of receipt of items.

Once claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:

(a) refund to your payment method

(b) a refund in store credit

(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)


If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been packaged or dispatched. If an order has already been packaged and waiting to be shipped, a 5% fee will be charged.

In the case of custom orders, if the product has not been purchased, cancellation without a fee is available but if the requested product has already been purchased, a 30% fee will be charged. For information on refund, please refer to our refund policy.

Mode of Payment

HEREFAN.COM accepts payment via credit or debit cards and currently uses PayPal Advanced which offers a wide range of payment options to customers, all of which are convenient and easily arranged depending on the country’s payment options. We accept payments via inter-bank transfers only from customers who make bulk purchases.

What currency can I pay in?

All orders can be paid using US Dollars, EURO, GBP.  Unfortunately we cannot accept payments made in any other currencies.
